Hello, my name is Amanda and I am 14 years old. I enjoy star trek very much, you could say I'm the die hard trekkie of my school. My mother has liked star trek since it first came out, but it didn't take me until Christmas of last year to really like it. I started by watching TNG because around that time it was starting over from the beginning and went in order. I also have joined what I call sims where I can be a Starfleet officer aboard a starship, I'm on 7 ships and mostly do tactical like Tasha Yar did. I enjoy doing that very much because it gives me that sense that I am in space exploring the universe for anything thatÕs out there! Star Trek has given me a new hope for our possible future in thinking one day we will explore the Universe and somehow I'm going to be a part of it. I also am planning to pursue a job in astronomy to study the universe from earth and maybe just maybe become an astronaut to really explore whatÕs out there. I want to thank anyone who reads this and is related in anyway to the star trek series because you have given me a new hope for my life and humanities future.
