Oh Please!!!!! I hope 'unique' fans doesn't mean you're going to spotlight the 'building the Enterprise out of Mashed Potatoes contingent are you????

Believe me, it's tough enough working at a Law Firm without "The Truth" coming out & I'm praying that focusing on the fringes of fandom won't make me (and my thirty and forty-something female fan friends) paranoid about hitting that escape key so no one will see our Star Trek screen savers!<G>

I got inadvertently hooked on Trek by being dragged by my 14 year old Son to the conventions. Now I'm the bigger fan. My biggest joy is posting to other fans on the 'Net & writing fan fiction. I was co-publisher of "Enterprising Women"--a newsletter just for women in sci-fi, but unfortunately finances caused us to phase it out recently.

My biggest thrill to date was meeting Kate Mulgrew through her fan club in Denver. I re-wrote the "Gettysburg Address" for the occasion...as you might guess, parody & not taking Trek too seriously is my strong point.

In any event, best of luck with the documentary. Hope you'll let me (or some similar 41 year old 'regular' Harriet Nelson type) represent the 'normal' side of Trek fandom.
