Greetings. My name is Kevin Himpelmann. I am 17 years old and I live in Huntley, IL. I first began watching Star Trek in December 1991. The episode was STTNG "Unification, part 1". I remember being just swept up completely by this thing which was unlike anything I had ever seen before up to that point. Since that time I have become a huge fan of all the series. My bedroom is just filled with Star Trek merchandise including my collection of presently 161 action figures, more than 40 starships, nearly 100 novels, magazines, comic books, pins, my uniform, t-shirts, cds, videotapes, collector plates, posters everywhere. At school I am regarded as the walking Star Trek Encyclopedia because I always have an answer for any question they have in regards to Star Trek. I have on several occasions worn my uniform to school much to the amusement of my peers, but I don't let their comments bother me because this is who I am. My favorite characters are Kirk, Sulu, McCoy, Spock, Data, LaForge, Riker, Picard, Sisko, Dax, Bashir, Worf, O'Brien, Rom, Wesley, B'Elanna, Seven, Paris, Doctor, and Tuvok. My favorite race is the Borg. Fav. series- STDS9. Fav. Movie(s)-2, 4, First Contact. My favorite ship is the Defiant because it has one of the best designs I've seen in a Federation ship.
