I saw TREKKIES in Lawrenceville, GA on May 23rd, 1999. I enjoyed it quite well.

Previously, I'd seen the AVI clips you have here on the TREKDOC site and my appetite was well wetted for Ms. Barbara Adams, Vulcan, Canada and the Trek Dentist's Office in Orlando. Thanks for satisfying my Trek taste buds.

The fellow riding in his Pike Chair was interesting. He looked like a candidate for Harrod Blank's "Wild Wheels" documentary!

Jimmy Doohan's story about the distressed fan was also a highlight!

Is there a "TREKKIES 2: The FANS Are Out There!" on the immediate horizon? Congratulations on a great film. Looking forward to more.

I would also like to tell you of the first sci-fi conn where I saw the lovely Ms. Denise Crosby

It was Sunday May 31st, 1992. The Con was called Dixie Trek (now defunct).

Denise walked onstage at 4:00 pm.

What I remember most was how composed, warm and friendly she was. And that was quite a feat considering she was on a tight schedule due to a TV shooting conflict. But she kept her cool and wits about her all thru the show.

Prior to this con I had not known all that much about Denise. I would have asked some very bad questions of her had it not been for the timely purchase of some important articles about her.

Those articles made me a much wiser man, for sure. I also had much deeper appreciation and respect for Denise as a person.

I would recommend to anyone who hasn't attended a con to read up on the stars attending it before going. You'll avoid asking the wrong questions. Believe me, I've seen a star or two look unhappy when asked really personal questions. So show some respect, OK??

Four years after Dixie Trek, I saw Denise again at a VULKON in St. Petersburg, Florida. Jerry Doyle "The cigar-smoking-man" of Babs #5 was also there. Simply another wonderful experience.

Salute, Denise! (and your family, too!)

Thanx, Frank Ferrell Phenix City
