Greetings from Lisa Tintle (Cmdr. QobaH Qlavaq of the U.S.S. Highroller)
I have been in Star Trek role-playing for quite a while now and have enjoyed attending conventions as I am an avid collector of Star Trek autographs. I am missing Denise Crosby's and hope that she'll visit Reno, Nevada sometime or somewhere nearby that I can travel to such as Sacramento, CA. My real reason for contacting you this way is that I publish a small newsletter via Starfleet International which contains updates. I did not see any kind of release date for 'Trekkies' and am beginning to wonder if Paramount will really release the film. I sure hope so because there are many of us who would like to see what some of the "heartier" fans are up to. I find it very fascinating to follow fandom and its various attributes. It's like both a study and a curiosity for me. Yes, I along with my family each has a costume both Federation and Klingon. We are martial arts types so the Klingon weaponry is appealing to work with and study. The Federation is also appealing because of its universal approach to the condition of mankind where we are free no matter who we are. Sorry to stray from my original question. Is there a release date planned for your "Trekumentary"? If so, please find a moment to update me so that I can let my "Captain" and the rest of the Highroller crew know. We can then plan something with the local theater to tie in an event with your "Trekumentary" and its celebration of fandom within the world of science fiction casting a positive light on one possible future.
Thank you in advance,
Lisa Tintle tintle@worldnet.att.net
