Hi Roger;

I saw the interview with Denise and clips from the documentary this morning and I let all my crew members and members within the fleet know it was on. It was exciting to see more of it. Everyone loved what we got to see in September.

A year and a half later, I continue to be amazed at the fact that people still recognize me and find what I did so astounding. I had to go to the dentist this week (unfortunately we don't have a Starbase Dental in Arkansas) and everyone in the office was talking about the "celebrity" patient.

I don't go to the front of the shop often, but I have been recognized by many of our customers. One even congratulated me for finding time to do something for the community in the Alliance. Thursday, a new customer came to the print shop, and while he was walking around with Mike, the sales rep, I said hello and continued my work. The customer came back in the next day to talk to Mike and had to tell me that it took him a little while, but he finally recognized me when he got home the night before. He could not even remember what trial I was on the jury (which I've actually had people ask a lot of times) but he remembered me and thought what I did was neat. One of the marshals retired in September and he wanted one of my photos autographed for his scrapbook.

As Denise has said on several occasions, Trek fans are kind and generous people (and I strive to live up to that every day as well as a reputation for integrity), but I have experienced the fans from the other side of the table, so to speak, when people want a photo or my autograph and tell me they admire what I did and I agree with Denise's observation. I have had strangers want to shake my hand, others wanted to hug me and others have given me little gifts, but the best part is the gratitude I feel when people salute me and say they never could have done what I did. I was pleased to work with all of you and will be happy to do whatever I can to help the film and Website.

To your success
