Hi Roger,

I promised you some feedback about TREKKIES. I will be giving you basically my first impressions.

My biggest reaction to it was that is was REALLY funny. And subtly so. It is presented in such a humorous, tongue-in-cheek as well as sometimes blatant way.

Also, it was objective. Other views besides mine were presented, but they were not imposed on me, and that made me comfortable. Truthfully, I was afraid that perhaps it was going to be rather cultish, but I was pleasantly surprised that it was not. If there was a main opinion expressed in it, it was admiration of how committed and constructive some Trekkies/Trekkers are. And although it was a humorous view of Trekkies/Trekkers, it also presented them in a very positive light.

If TREKKIES is shown in the theatres--or anywhere, for that matter--I think it will captivate people's interest. Its subject matter is original--a documentary is not fiction. And I am sure the humor will grab others just as it grabbed me, and those who have also already viewed it.

Thank you for having let me view TREKKIES.

Jane
